neutral light problem

Postby malachi » Tue Apr 16, 2013 10:29 am

I have a weird problem with my baggy, I had to fit some new left hand switch gear and now I have no neutral light and the bike refuses to start, if you ground the blue wire to the neutral switch the neutral light comes on and the bike starts and runs fine but the side stand switch makes no difference up or down. I dont think its to do with the switch gear as it runs its own loom as the bike came to me running a basic engine loom with just a brake light and single beam headlight. could it just be the switch has gone? thanks for any ideas

look close at the drawings of the wiring there are diodes in that area that effect every thing
if there missing or in wrong they can mess things up with relay 30 on the 660 bikes or relay 19 on a 125 drawing

thanks tony idle for the drawing
