FCR35 jetting

Hi guys, this is pretty much a copy and paste from the SZR yahoo group, but I haven't had a lot of luck over there.

I've got a pair of FCR35s originally from a TT600 to go on my SZR660, and will have to
ride the bike to an MOT and back before I can get it dynoed.

Spec is:

Projection components headers with race can
11:1 Wiseco piston on stock bore
FCR35s with no airbox (until I get around to making it fit)
Lightly ported head from a Raptor (done by an American quad tuner, no other details)

Main jets are currently 132 both sides, needle jets and pilot air jets are not
marked with a number.

Does anyone have experience of using the Keihin carbs? If so an idea of your setup would be great, to at least give me a base setting to work from.

Thanks!
David

Not too many folks on this site running those carbs. Mikuni's reign supreme here but you can probably get your question answered on one of the Raptor forums.

Thanks for the reply.

TM34s were my next choice, and are a favourite for the SZR guys too. I've browsed a few Raptor sites and main jets in the 150s seem to be in the right area, it would be nice to get an idea of settings for a more similar application though!

I've been running a set of FCRs on one of my Sports for 5 plus years and love them. Can't add much info on jetting - I picked them up second hand and they were set up spot on!
