Hi folks
Quick question - getting my Replica back together and I'm not very good at reading those wiring diagrams. Can some take a look at their bike tonight.
Which color wires go on the two vertical (left and right) stock Sport tail light connection posts and which one goes on the side post. You replay will save me a lot of trial and error!
Thanks in advance.

Hello Doug,
The brown wire is ground - connects to side terminal
the Black is brake light
the gray is tail light.
Not sure which of the top side of the stock light terminals is which since
mine is a non stock light.
Suggest connect the ground and just try the tail light on either top terminal .......

the bulbs have a bright filament and a dimmer one if its an 1157 bulb
the bright one is the brake lamp the dim one is the running lamp
so when you use the brake the very bright lamp gets the guy behind you attention and
to hopefully stop
it is important it is correct now that headlamp on in the daytime is in force
because rear running lamp is always on

Doug,
is this the guy who can wire up a trail tech tach and speedo?Follow Dave' and all's info....connect the ground lead, put the brake on and see how bright the light is...if real bright you've got it..if not switch the lead to the other filament...by the way, much better lights are available....I have the Emgo Lucas style...looks excellent and has given no problems for 3-4 years....

to improve bulb life..
i recycle lamps from old cars on there way to the crusher
like from the 60's or 70's
they made good bulbs back then
and its cheap
