Rear-sets/footpeg assembly

I need a set of aftermarket rear sets for my Sport. Any available?
The previous owner had moved the LH footpeg forward and was way out of line with the brake assembly. When I move the footpeg back into the rear slot the gear connecting rod is way too short! How he rode it I dont know.
Standard rear-sets would be fine if I cant get aftermarket ones.
Thanks
Ron

You may have to fabricate a mounting plate,I know Gilles makes some for the Skoprion, pricey though...some use SV 650,I have a set of Pro Tek's on mine....th...ough they are custom from something else...
you could try to adapt DanMoto rear sets for a Yamaha R6...right side may require new M/C....mine is yzf 250 I think...GP shift is easy to rig via direct lever (xt500)
hope this helps....

You say LH foot peg but also mention the brakes. Are you having problems with the brake master cylinder rod or the shifter linkage? The brake cylinder works in either position.

Ron, if the stock pegs were in the rear position and the PO just moved them forward, then they would be out of line with the brake assembly. But with the stock system you can unbolt the brake assy and flip it over and they line up again - could it be that the PO didn't do that?

Hi Sam,
I think my previous owner had mental lapses, the rear sets dont even match up or look similar. So the reverse trick cant apply. I will try the TRX ones and see if I can sort it. Have also discovered he has ground the lug off for the sidestand, also discovered he has fitted a 17t front sprocket.
Watch this space for more installments! To be fair I got this bike cheap and only a few days ago but man is it weird, am seein so many wrong things...
Cheers
Ron
