Can anybody tell me the diameter of the headlight lense on a skorpion tour? Im planning on changing my skorpion sport to a single round headlight setup and was just wondering what the stock headlight size is for reference.

Use a GS500 headlight assy 1989-2002. Abundant supply but the 04 and later GS500 fairinged version has sort of depleted that abundance.

I have a 1/2 assed conversion done but I do know it will fit. You make carriers for it and use the GS500 ears etc ... I did much of that. But I cant get pics just yet, I have had foot surgery and cant walk for atleast 10 more days.

But a GS500 headlight will take the wiring and work 100%. Some years are chrome some others are grey painted steel. Take your pic, I like the grey, and like to powdercoat em black.

Im planning on bumping the headlight up a size larger than a stock one but i dont know the size of the stock one other than seeing it in pictures. Im assuming its a 7" but really have no idea. Just wanted to know the size for sure before i order anything. Thanks for the info and i hope your foot heals soon!

the head lamp from the rt125 2002 works good with 65 /55 watt bulb

i fitted one to my 1963 r50s bmw
due to the high cost of the bmw one as the speedo no longer works the original shell was no longer wanted on the bike
and made an easy up grade to h4 bulb

there are 2 versions of the rt shel /lens is different for which side of the road you drive on

GS500 is a 7". Larger - GS1150 from the mid 80's has 8". The largest there ever was if IIRC.

I'll bet the skorp is a 7" as well.
Larger headlights are like butterfly horns ... you dont see them ... ever.
