Having mega trouble getting the rear sprocket carrier bearings out. The long spacer is seized to the bearing. Any ideas? Anyone got a sprocket carrier for sale? - hooperman100@btinternet.com

assuming your using a drift to try to knock it aside and get to the bearing? you might need a bearing puller or heat it up(it will kill the bearing) and see if that loosens it up.

I have my old wheels and carrier but you should be able to get those bearings out with the right tools. Get a bigger hammer or run down to the local shop and have them pressed out. And while you are thinking about it, hose the thing down with penetrating oil if you haven't already. ;)

Hi, bit of a random one, but does anyone know where I can buy a sprocket carrier for a MZ Baghira 660? Preferably UK.
Cheers.

As i'm sure you know bud, 2nd hand spares are hard to come by & there aren't that many dealers that supply mz parts new or 2nd hand. Out of interest why do you need the whole sprocket carrier when it's usually the bearings that need replacing?
