Just been for a long ride (well long for me 128 miles) on my ETZ 251 and got an astonishing 78mpg I checked my calculations twice, this was after fitting my home made/bodged exhaust .
Prior to fittin it I was getting 45/55 to the imperial not US gallon.
The speeds were only 50/60 but it was not constant droning along but mostly bendy back roads.

Many years ago after my mate and i had run out of money in Cornwall, we returned to Bristol as`economically`as possible. He got 80mpg out of his Honda 250 Superdream and i got 120mpg from my MZ 250 Supa 5!
