Hi a few questions about etz125 from a newbie

Hello all, ive just aquired a 87 etz 125, what a peice of kit..... now i was wondering if you guys could answer a couple of questions for me, it came with no battery, is it 6v or 12v? i counld look at the bulbs but this is easier lol, does it run pre mix or is the a seperate oil tank? if so would it still be 25-1? and the carb needle was out, do we know what the setting should be? there is four indents for the clips?? thanks guy

Hi,
The battery is 12 volts. The engine lubrication is pump fed if there is a black tank with a red cap underneath the left hand (nearside) side panel. If there is no tank the oil is mixed in with the petrol at a ratio of 50:1 (1 litre oil to 50 litre petrol). There should be a steel measuring cup with level markings attached to the underside of the petrol tank filler cap. If the bike is an newer model there will probably be a locking petrol cap, so no measuring cup. Needle position try second from top as a start and move the clip up to lean the mixture or down to enrichen it as needed.
