dot 3- dot 4 brake fluid 1989 etz 250
Posted: Mon Mar 29, 2010 3:46 ami live in new zealand and cannot find dot 3 brake fluid for my 1989 etz 250. it states on fluid reservoir cap use only dot 3 brake fluid, i have seen castrol dot 4 fluid that states it can be used instead of dot 3 but it also says that if it is advised that vehicle can only use dot 3 fluid do not use it. if i use this dot 4 fluid could it harm rubber components in the brake system. would be very grateful if anyone could help..
