Hi all, I've just bought a 1980 TS 125 with 150 head and piston, it's been stood for a couple of years and needs a little work.
Just wondering what I should keep an eye out for problems wise.
Also could anyone recommend me a good two stroke oil and the correct ratio for pre mixing.
Can't wait to get the little beast on the road.

Mixing ratio is 50:1 on a 1980 bike as it has a roller small end bearing.
Things to look out for:
Crank seals gone hard (can be changed without splitting the crank cases).
Rust inside the tank (blocks the tap and the carb)
Bad earths (fit new thick earth wires between the headlight shell, engine and tail light to the battery earth point).
Sort those things and they just want to run and run.
