HeeHee! I have a grin like the Cheshire Cat, lined up my new headlight unit and all fits wkd! I wish i could show you so much but i just can't, yet! The rear end has been modified and ready to fit new seat unit and all else seems well! I have some cutting and some more modifications to do but nothing major, trying to get this bike looking radically different to stock, and it is. But with not too much work and some slight alterations which i hope will mean anyone else wishing to do it can buy the parts, get em home and there goes the next few days of your life, brilliant. ALL parts i'm using can be purchased and i have checked with suppliers in relation to supply and all is well, no worries if you do want to buy the same parts as i'm using. Although i am slightly changing some parts you could do it yourself or i can do it for you so no probs, DON'T FORGET ALL MZRIDERS MEMBERS WHO HAVE BEEN HERE REGISTERED FOR 6 MONTHS OR MORE AND REGULAR VISITORS WILL BE ELIGABLE FOR DISCOUNTS TOO!!!!! :-D

Wheels and all other parts painted look real trick and i'm sure at least some of you will like them. With a bit of luck and some long hard hours this bike will certainly give you food for thought, just remember this is MY interpretation and design, you may have some great ideas yourself that will only add to a new generation of MZ bike design, if MZ ain't gonna do it, then we might as well!!!!

HOPE SANTA BRINGS ME MY KEIHIN FLATTIES FOR XMAS! :smt040

Even if you can't publish yet, having some in-between / work-in-progress / assembly photos might be useful.

Wonky,
I can understand this ELF "gettin' air on his way to help you with the project but what's the deal, where's his factory race MZ attire?
He must have been in a hurry to help! :D
Time off from the North Pole...

:!: heyy, you just gave me a good idea! If I got custom leathers made, even a jacket, I could get green and silver on it, or the MZ logo, even better. What would be easy, if you could get MZ cloth patches. wow! It would look good - something different.

Today went really well! The old parts are stripped off the bike, engines all out, again, and the new one goes in tomorrow, race prepped! Finished cutting all excess lugs off rear subframe, new swingarm, engine mounts, etc go on tomorrow. By next week pipes will be fitted, painted wheels go in, by following week the bike should be complete, as long the parts are back from the painters. It's happening...at last! :-D
