Anyone replaced a broken spoke? I have broken one on the rear wheel and need some guidance on how to replace it.

Also looking for front brake pads.

Hi, was it the spoke or the nipple that broke? I had 6 broken nipples on my baghira over the last 3 years, all on the rear wheel, disc side...

You can get spokes and nipples separately from you local MUZ dealer, and are easy to replace yourself.

I lost faith in the end, and had my wheels re-built with stainless spokes, and brass nipples, I also had the rims drilled out to take larger nipples and anodised,,, job done! no more rusty broken spokes and corroded rims...

You can view the old beast at:http://www.mzriders.com/viewtopic.php?t=233&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15

I have broken 5 spokes on the rear wheel of my Baghira Enduro. 4 of them broke while jumping it at the motocross track. The other broke without any abuse, I do 98% of my riding on the street. Where did you get your wheel rebuilt and ss spokes? I got spokes from my dealer but it took about 3 months. Is your bike a Enduro? (18" rear wheel). How does a nipple break? I've never seen one fail, and can't picture how it would happen.

Hi, it's the heads that break of the nipple, at fiirst it seems the spoke is loose, and you only find out when you try and tighten them, they just pull through.

I had the wheels rebuilt by Ray Halfacre, of Portsmouth UK..
