THE MOST AMZING DEAL OF A LIFE-TIME MISSED BY A WHISKER!

Postby Wonkmeister » Mon Nov 26, 2007 1:13 pm

Thought i'd just post this as it really had me literally sitting with my head in my hands punching myself in the side of the head...

On MCN's bikes for sale section a few weeks ago there was a deal that will have you ALL gobsmacked. Before i tell you what it was i will exlain, Martin told me there was a bargain that must be a mis-print but worth a call. I rang the guy up but unfortunately it had just gone, the guy got himself an absolute bargain deal on a VFR800I that was mint and the money he saved made him cut his losses on a bike he had purchased for a PROJECT. The bike in question was all running and he had just stripped some parts off, but everything was their to rebuild and put back to standard or to start customising, he even gave the guy who got this lucky deal a bike trailor he wanted rid of, the guy paid for the bike and drove away with it on a FREE trailor...what was it you ask?

HOW ABOUT THIS:
MZ Baghira
8000 Miles
No damage
Paperwork

FREE TRAILOR

£100

That's right i did say £100....not a mis-print...£100...AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGH!

THE CHEAPEST MZ EVER!!!!!!

If I had seen it I would probably have ignored it as a misprint.....I would have also had a bit of a snigger thinking about the poor fella getting loads of phonecalls from "idiots" expecting a decent bike to put together for a 100 quid !!

Now I just feel a bit gutted that I missed it especially since I will probably be needing some bits soon  I would have been too cynical to ring it anyway but thats not the point !!

Seems like some things arent too good to be true after all.

Ye, a real bargain. I believe the bike was in the midlands some-where but not exactly sure!
