Any chance of e-mailing it to keithcross55@hotmail.com, or maybe sending a copy to one of my freinds in Cincinati if not. He will then forward it to me.

Fork Brace for Baghira

Postby sisomos » Fri Feb 10, 2006 11:55 pm

Hi every one, This is the first time I post since I am a new member. I have a black panther 2003 and I found a local shop in Miami where he can build one. If there are enough orders we can bring the price down. I know it is winter for many of you but for a few of us, we are riding!

I made this opne out of a chunk of 6061 aluminum on a manual milling machine. If I had to charge for the time I have into it, you would be looking at $300 a copy. Someone with a CNC machine could whack them out for about $100 each.......

The diameter of the forks at this location is 60.57mm (2.385"). If you find a triple tree top for a bike that is thin enough you might be able to make that work... thing is you have to have the correct fork spacing.

Another great alternative is purchasing two billet fork clamps for steering stabilizers and getting them welded or getting stock steel and bolting them through the provided holes. You could also get clip ons to work as well.

Last alternative is buying one for another bike with 60mm forks and cutting it to fit the right spacing and getting it welded by a professional.

The centers between both fork legs is 194mm on this one. The last time I checked the fork tube center to center for a Baghira is 175mm? That sounds wrong... Someone check that number.
