Hi Nick,

The picture posting thing worked for me a couple of days ago, and with a decent-sized pic too. But then, I live nearer Diss than you!! What's all this Norfolk-Nick-Skorpion interest thing? Sounds suspicious to me!

Hi, Thanx Dave & Nick for your replies.....
I tried the pixel/ resolution reduction thingy but I have since found out that my security package settings are
set too high or something.... I look into it later.....

Yeah Nick, I thought that I read on a forum that you also live in Norfolk & ride A skorpi and also called Nick ????

I Thought that I had been "cloned" .... L M F A O .....

Cheers again, From Nick ( Skorpi660 ) Norfolk UK

Very tidy Traveller, Nick, and a tasteful colour! Those tuning forks look suspect though....

Now I know what to look out for around Thetford, though you likely won't spot me as pretty soon my dark blue Honda NTV shaft-drive will come out for the salty winter duties. All the Italian stuff and the MuZ will get tucked away in the warm and dry for various mods to be made, including a Silent-Hektik ignition for the Cagiva Alazzurra (Ducati Pantah in drag). We must make contact though, maybe in the Spring?

Hi Nick, That sounds like a plan.... I have taken the badges off only to reveal a large chip in the tank's paint on the near side...
it looks as though at some point it may possibly have been done with a "tool" during handle bar adjustment....
I found the original badges in the tool kit roll, but the lacquer has "yellowed" quite badly...
I may look for replacements & reposition them to mask the affected area...
But I have much more important jobs to do to her ...

My Skorpi is off the road at mo, shelled a piston ring and it has damaged the barrel, also cam chain has stretched therefore unable to get timing right... So undergoing an overhaul.... New piston upgrade from 100mm to 105mm with (11.5 to 1) Rapter proX piston... Re-sleeved barrel... Probably upto just under 700cc now..... competition cam, cogs & chain... lightened flywheel... polished ports and re-seated valves.....

Holeshot re-jetting kit and K&N air filter... fuel pump removal.... My divi had one fitted and it ran much better with out it.. Totally unnecessary Yamaha fitment..
Also rear light mod to LED... Fed up with replacing bulbs... I have mod-ed the front headlight to accommodate two mini Cibie driving lights with halo
ring of LEDS.. Looks pretty good and so much improvement over O E one.....

I must also do something about that ski slope of a seat.... I get my balls crushed every time I take a pillion... LOL...

I have looked into changing the exhaust can, but have it on good faith from Dale Walker of Holeshot fame that the standard can fitted is well balanced
for Performance and torque.... If fitted with his race can & stage 3 carb jetting kit it will give minimal increase in top end only...

He also suggested keeping the standard air box but lose the lid and fit a fast air flow foam filter pad ....

The only real way to gain 60+ horses is to fit a set of slab side carbs on open twin trumpets with a TRX e c u (which lifts the rev limiter)... The carbs are a real bitch to set up & very expensive he says...
He also suggested ditching the heavy rims and fitting a Set off a SZR or TZR with Forks and rear swinger + shock.... For added speed off the line & stability.. You might as well hold out for a Replica... Incidentally there is one for sale on eBay (290274008533 ) with a start price of £1,700 in the south of England.. GOOD LUCK..

With a start price of £1,700 in the south of England...
