wiring diagram...

just had a squint at the wiring diagram as posted on this site,,,

it seems that the wiring diagram only shows one direction indicator on the dash... mine has two... is the drawing wrong, or is my bike different from others....

i have just made my custom led dash and may need to refer to this if i get any probs.....

why the extra wire in the multi pluf the black red, what does this do....?

hi al,will dig out diagram later,two indicator warning lights are the norm and i think though not 100% that black/red are ign feeds.will check later

have two diagrams,one showing one indicator and the other which is front wiring only showing two lights.rt/sw red-black is an ign feed.
hope this helps, though as your only moving lights to a different dash can't see a problem,good luck

no probs, thanks think i can suss it out problem was i made my pcb using 6 wires i.e. five bulbs (12v led's) and a common earth.

( dashboard illumination lights not required that would have made 7 wires). The loom has eight wires. the additional wire i need is black/red.

black / red and blue is connected to one of the bulbs, and i was not sure which bulb this is as i have pulled the lights out. I will put the loom back on this morning to prove which bulb is black / red, blue wire. Then i can modify my pcb...

Have to add some other circuits to the pcb also one which is my usb on warning light, and a switch to turn off my usb charger (for satellite)

Getting there slowly...

Need new front indicators now as my old ones have been modified so much they have fallen apart....

My goal is to mount the front headlight / fairing as close to the forks as possible, and still have my cycle speedo there and my new dash....

Front end seems real easy to turn now and its great to see so much movement on the front wheel.
