MY DAD, DEmark....

Postby sherdod1 » Sat Apr 25, 2009 6:52 pm

I see my father (DEmark) frequents this website quite often. He seemed to have made a good amount of friends here. I have some sad news. A few weeks ago, he was struck by a car while cycling and died from his injuries. Anyone who would like to view his website, the site is http://www.markschaumann.com
Thanks for all the discussion/tips about this particular brand of motorcycle he loves. I'm glad he was able to share this passion with you all.

Sheri,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a terrific guy, and even though I never met him face-to-face, I really appreciated the help, advice, and humor he shared in our dealings. I'll miss him.

Hi Sheri,
My Mum also passed away on this Easter Sunday April 12th, though at 89 she was a lot older than your Dad, and I'm glad to see she has such a fine man as your Dad to keep her company in Heaven Training :D
My condolences on your loss. I know the pain is terrible, but with time it will pass.

I am very sorry for your loss. I purchased parts from your father and had a good chat about Wilmington, NC - where I live and where your father is from. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim Morgan

Hi Sheri,
I just came across this post and I'm saddened to hear of your loss.

This past September I had talked to your dad on the phone from my brothers house in Boston,MA.
I had a lot of time on my hands as I was with my brother who had cancer all summer and when I logged on one afternoon he posted some wheels for sale and after an e/mail we talked on the phone for a while.
He told me about being in the hospital in South America I think. He gave me his blog and I posted it here.He sounded like quite the man.He seemed to have lived many lifetimes in the one he was given. You should be very proud of your dad. Best/John PS I"M sure he and my brother are on dirt bikes in heaven...
