I'd like to know where Jarrow got that info too??? unlesssss MZ bought out the rights for the 660 XTR and Yammy decided that the new offering is far superior ??? It would be very cool If MZ took the engine and lightened it a bit... If possible without sacrifices, fuel injection too ! :shock:

Sure guys, when it comes down to it , Yamaha will sell there motor to the right person. It's nothing new.

Polaris snowmobiles used to buy there motors from fuji industries

Artic cat motors are Suzuki

Rotax engines go to ski-doo and then Ski-doo sells them to A.D.boivin for the snow hawk

Ford , honda , Harley, chevy all sell there engine . It's nothing new

that naked 1000 would be very cool.... the new Aprillia is very cool, I'm lookin at it pretty hard.... I'd be first inline for new Fuel Injection Retro, I'd think it would work :?:

yes, brian the hooligan/naked 1000 will be nice. But the bike I'm looking forward to is the 1000 Pairs Dakar on/off road bike that will be out the end of 2004 beginning of 2005 . That will be the one :shock:
