Hi,
Have you done a compression test with a high gauge. If nothing else if it passes it will reassure you that there is adequate compression available. It's easy enough,all you do is screw the gauge into the spark plug hole and with a fully charged battery fully open the throttle and turn over the engine until you get a peak value on the guage.
If there is no compression then you have to do a leak down test.
I did all of the above when my RT125 wouldn't start. Turned out one off the exhaust valves was leaking due to carbon deposits on the valve seat. I had to remove the head and get the valves re-seated. Runs OK now thank god.
It can't hurt to do the test.
