WOW !! pretty cool.
I read the one comment that said something like "imagine what it would take to get these bikes running again."

I don't see what would be so hard.

Clean/replace carbs clean fuel system, shoot a little Marvel mystery oil in the cylinder for a day or two and fire it up.What am I missing or is this one of those things we talked about that seems easy and turns into a nightmare . I like the yellow sport cup's  looks just like Walt's/ guitarzan bike.I thought you had a low miles bike !!
You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.

be aware that bikes that have sat for a long time may have
2 problems i have ran into
1 if it has points the points return spring will most often have lost its tension
the bike will run but when it reves up the points do not close properly causing it to run bad
2 if the rings have never got hot they may or may not be bad
the 75 nortons i would drop the tops off and do new rings before i ever started them
as like the points the tension may be gone from just setting

and 3 i almost forgot
little cracks in the brass float bowls just like my old bmw's do every few years

yamaha early 1980,s sr250s do the bad rings thing if they set for very long
my wife has 2 in the shed with no compression

The Harris-Matchless-Rotax G80 is nice. Only 860 of these made, and only 380 or so had the electric start option and dual front disk brakes. I'd probably be all over it if it were located in the US, but unfortunately it's in Belgium. But I'll be watching it...........
