1500 mtr is Blackforest or Vosges altitude.

Getting to the Reschenpass going to Italy (e.g. down to Bologna or frther to Pesaro), I like to take the
Arlberg Pass im the summer months or the
Silveretta Hochalpenstrasse:
no trees up here as you can see. Not very many cars, either.
As it is with "that" carb, only the left side might be a target. The right side is way too rich to start with.
Of course modern bikes with injection don't have any problems, but I don't have anything like that.
