Skorp bogs at mid rpm. Idle and top end fine. Suggestions?

The subject says it all. I'm about to pull the carb and clean the pilot jet - probably clean the whole thing while I'm there. Am I pursuing the guilty culprit? Any suggestions?

sounds to me like the membrane of the secondary has swollen up so much it takes quite a bit of vacuum to move it initially.
Make a 1/8" spacer between it and the dome.
