02 Skorpion Tour- blue. 13,700. adult miles (commuting and week-end rides in the country)... never raced or abused, but not babied either.

THE GOOD:
Runs great; of course the handling and great ergonomics, and consistant 40mpg. MZ supplied me with new replacement parts under warranty for possible premature wear, so the bike comes with (not yet installed):
brand new front rotor, caliper, and pads
brand new rear rotor, caliper, and pads
brand new chain, front drive sproket, and rear sproket
new revised petcock for better fuel delivery
I just had a complete brake service, and the tires (Conti Force radials) are fairly new. I replaced the battery with a reliable one @ 3k, and it comes with a small National Cycles street shield... bike is completely stock down to the charcole canister! Switched over to semi-synthetic @ 11k.

THE BAD

Bike has a couple very minor scratches from a (no-speed) tip-over, and the kick-stand mounting plate has bent so the bike leans over too much when parked. I usually use the center stand anyway; all this is no big deal- very minor. This bike has no damage that affects the ride once aboard.

THE UGLY

Bike will need a tune-up in the Spring, and needs a little TLC (seat cover a little worn, etc. as I ride in the rain)


OVERALL

A great deal; the bike really runs fine and with the new parts...
