Except when the salt is too much to contend with, I am a all-year rider. I don't have a car. If the weather gets too bad, I use the Vespa. Doesn' fall so hard and is no big problem or shame when it does.
But yes, I do have a winter project for my Skorpion - IF I can find the time. Otherwise I hve an SZR here from a customer which I souped ]up a bit and must now put the engine back into. And then a Ducati bastard; 916 turned into a sort of Monster with a M900 engine an lots and lots of CF. It will be getting two separate flatslides, each mounted directly to the head and individual K&Ns.
Year round rider also, but I just changed jobs and can use public transport again... Traveller is running fine. General maintenance look-over once we get moved back into the house... Definitely going to pull the right side cover and check the balance shaft. Bill R
I keep mine running all year also....sometimes of course weather does not allow...blizzard of 2010 for example. but if it is almost any other,I'll ride...... Which reminds me...Bill what thickness would you recommend for the diaphram spacer on the CV side of a stock carbs? Plan on making my own, similar to Tunebike kit.
First frosty ride of the season was last week, where my new gloves were not as warm as I'd hoped. Ebay has sent me some bar muffs to ensure that I keep riding ( talk about function over form! Oh my god they are hideous!).
Baghira 660 for the road, CCM 404 for green laning. Singles rock!
bar muffs craig vetter the faring guy from the 1970's called them HIPPO HANDS there was a reason but they did help wish i knew where mine went dave

Hey thats why I reside in Miami, ride my skorpion sport all year round, no frigid cold, no snow, no salt, and Daytona is a beautiful 4 hour ride away. for everyone else here, I wish you a happy winter
