Skorpion Airfilter

Postby Old Dog » Fri Jul 22, 2011 4:28 am

Hi,
I am looking for some old airfilters for a skorpion. element condition not an issue, intact mesh would be preferred.

Many thanks
All the best

Sorry, no spares to part with.
Which "homemade" route are you going down?... :D
I've got one I'll be doing the K&N job on.
Considering Uni foam cut to fit and glued in place.
What's the opinion on foam for general street use?

I got 1 layer of the light green foam in mine. Whatever was @ my nearest hobby shop.
Cool.

I've posted an article on making your own air filter element on my blog: http://youcanttouronasingle.blogspot.com/
Very easy job that only took about 15 minutes.

Oh yea I did that foam thing, worked fine till the mesh backing got tore by some unfortunate accident ... then it ended up getting sucked to the intake snorkels. I guess I better fix that foam back with the mesh glued in.
Cool.
