I've thought of doing that also and would like to know what your opinion is so far. I switched to a 150/60/17 rear Shinko Podium and love it.
Good Luck, Ed

This is the tire size on the front of my '01 Skorpion. Too wide for that 3.5" rim, in my opinion. Michelin Road2, tread surface rolls perpindicular to the axle. It still looks new, I'm temped to change it for a 110/70.

I just got Baghira, less wheels, so I don't know the stock rim specs.

Going down from the 160 to a 150 rear makes the bike more flickable and nimble. That's why going down to a 60 series front might be fun.
Keep us posted, Ed : )

cracking on mine, really like the 120 60 17 front seems to turn so much quicker...

especially low speed stuff, will turn on a sixpence...
