Baggi/Mastiff/Scorpion Parts Available

Postby Whysub » Sat Oct 01, 2011 2:39 pm

Firstly apologies to the moderators for putting this in the 660cc section rather than For Sale as I wanted to reach a bigger audience.

I have a couple of engines, one taken out to 686cc and built by XTZ builder and Champion Supermono racer Steve Ruth which has never been run,and a standard motor that has done less than 7,000 miles.

I have Baggi plastics, tank, Carbon Can Co endcan, brand new oversized headers from Bernd at tunebike.de and so on. Paste this number 250902029391 onto www.ebay.co.uk for the engine and then see the other items I have for sale.

Not everything I have is on ebay, such as the unused (tunebike.de) carb upgrade kit, carbs (two standard sets and a set of FCR flat slides), a TDM CDi box, and other bits. I don't have anything for the rolling chassis-that went "missing" a long time ago...............................

If you want something that is not listed then contact me at whysub at hotmail com (substitute @ for the "at") as this site is blocked at work (goodness knows why) and I'll check back on here when I can. It's sad to let all this go but as it has all been stored in my garage since 2005 and with no sign of me ever seeing my rolling chassis again, it's high time I sold it all off. I did look for a Scorpion and Baggi chassis but with no luck. I also consider putting the engine into a Mito chassis, but knew I would never really have the time. So it's the end of the road and a clear(er) garage.

Thanks.

And sorry, i have just seen the messages sent to me here when I advertised the items here before.

I apologise to everyone that sent one and never received a reply-it was because I never saw them-I had a "domestic" issue that cropped up then which took up all my time and attention. All sorted now!

Thanks for bearing with me!

Clicked on your link to the ebay web site. Typed mz in the search box, clicked on the motorcycles for sale and scrolled down.
Someone has a Mastiff chassis for free. You just pick it up.
Worth checking into?
Good luck,

Are you able to box and ship the motor to the US?

Would like to get my hands on that tuned engine but I'm in Ireland. How much are you looking for the FCR's? Any pics? Will they defo fit? Also, how much for the Tunebike carb kit? Thanks,

Mick.

Mick,
whysub is a great guy, been on here for years...I scarfed up that Tunebike Kit from him earlier this week...the FCR's would be the dogs if the motor they're going on is modified rather extensively, not for stock use ( way over kill)
now on his modded motor they'd work great!!!

My next plan is a 686cc bore and cam reprofile but, being out of work, it's on the back burner. My baggie's making 45bhp at the mo. Does the carb kit make much difference? I bought one a few years back but the guy who was doing the dyno work on the bike didn't fit it. Only spotted this recently while washing the bike.

Hi all

Tuned engine sold now (went extremely cheaply, but need the space and it's been nothing more than an ornament in my garage for years) and it looks like my standard engine has been sold too.

Mick-the FCR's are 39's and are the same as those that have been fitted to many supermono racers powered by the XTZ engine (as well as many other single cylinder racers) and the same as those fitted to the STMZ (if you remember that). I got them from a race team that were running them on their Pami BMW supermono, and thus the inlet trumpets fitted to them are for the BMW. Slipstream do (or did) sell them at around £70 a pair, but any engineering firm should be able to make them for the XTZ engine if given the dimensions.

Hope there are some on here that win the items they are bidding for-if anyone from here wins, let me know that you are a forum member!

Wow. He didn't half leave it til the last second did he?

How much do you want for the carbs? Could be a couple of book-ends here as there. Like I was saying to Basser, I do intend to do more tuning on the engine but just not yet.
