When I bought my bike the PO had installed a M-4 straight thru can that was loud as hell. I put the stock exhaust back on but was not pleased with the perfomance, looks and the stocker weighs a ton. I ordered a db-killer insert from http://www.spengineering.co.uk and it quieted it way down. Took me about 5mins to install with a cost of about 35 bucks shipped. very pleased with it

It does translate to 2" if you're looking at american exhausts.....which means...2" is about 51mm.....anyway, easy for the exhaust shop to sort that out.
I'll check later, i'll measure, the stock exhaust is in my spare room, but i've got to go out now.
