2003 Baghira for sale

Hello, gotta sell my 03 baggy. The bike is in overall good condition but electrical gremlins and lack of time and interest is making me sell. It has 25K on the odo. Extras include some soft saddle bags, touratech skid plate, and pro-taper bars. Engine is in good working order and there is no damage to the bike aside from normal scratches and the plastic around the exhaust at the back. The issue with the electrical is the battery has full 12v charge but when the start switch is pushed the lights go out and for a few second, no start, the power comes back. Anyway the bike is located in Seattle, Washington. May just part the bike out, would rather not since it is complete and a good runner. $1450

You should change the main fuse. It's cheap and easy; might be the problem. You would certainly get more money for a running bike. A bad fuse can lose continuity when under a load, then regain it after cooling off. Cheap as can be, and might cure the problem. It has happened to me more than once. Since that time, I change all my fuses every 5 years. This assumes your battery terminals are spotlessly shiny clean and torqued properly. If not, that is another joker in the electrical deck. Time for some spring cleaning and I need to sell this Baggy. Bike has 15k miles. I will try to get it up and running soon (some electrical issue) or part it out. I also was not able to upload a photo of the bike. If you are interested I can text or email pics. Thanks
