Road Tyre Options for my 2001 Baghira

Postby Levi Nash » Sat Jul 17, 2010 5:35 am

Hi Guys,

Im after some opinions on road tyres for my Baghira enduro. I can't afford to splash out on a new set of wheels to make it a supermoto so that means im looking for a 21" front and 18" rear.

Im after a grippy road tyre as i wont be using the bike offroad at all. The hardest part will probably be finding a tyre that will fit both wheels what with the awkwark sizes ect.

Any help is much appreciated

All the best

Both the Avon Distanzia and Pirelli Scorpion are pretty good tire for the dirt wheels. I have both sets and I'm surprised at how quick you can still move along as compared to the 17s. HTH, Kyle

The Pirellis are ok, but there's much more grip in the Michelin Siracs, in my experience.

You're right, with a 21" front and 18" rear you're limited in choice. The Michelin Annakee is the best front option that there is for a 21", but they don't do an 18" for the rear. :?
Baghira 660 for the road, CCM 404 for green laning. Singles rock!
