FS 1979 MZ TS250 Custom

Postby BBSparky » Wed Mar 07, 2012 4:04 am

Hey guys,

Decided to put this up to see if there was any interest. Mainly looking to sell as i cant ride it and i could do with the cash/space for the trike project. Saying that i may consider a px for a 50 or 125cc ;)

Bike is a 1979 MZ TS250
Fully rebuilt and modified
Frame freshly stripped and powder coated
Full rebuild can be found at marcbeadell.moonfruit.com
Printed & electronic copy of the original workshop manual
Various other bits from the original bike
Bike is currently SORN as has been off the road for the rebuild and I don’t actually have a bike licence ;-)
I have the front headlight and rear light if you wanted to make it full road use or just fit the LED's I have for the brake light and go day time only MOT.

As a rough idea of price I would guess about £700 for the bike but make me an offer. She owes me quite a bit more but its been a fun project and kept me out of the pub ;D

Full details are in the link in my signature ( website is marcbeadell.moonfruit.com ). Bike is in Warsash (SO31) just outside Southampton UK

Any q' just ask

Marc

OK, maybe im pricing a bit high here, always a little difficult when its your own project i guess. Maybe £600 ono? Any comments welcome.

I also have the following parts to go with it:
Original headlight ( would need new brackets due to clip ons)
Speedo & cable
Red LED's for tail light
White LED's for number plate light
Original bar end mirror
3 original levers with indicator/light/horn switches
spare fuel tap
horn
spare points & condenser
front mudguard
rear brake light switch

is this sold?
MZ Skorpion 1994, considering streetfightering it, but for now i am simply enjoying it
2X gilera cougar, each want new engines and one to be chop and one a street tracker,
I love chopping stuff to pieces
Its the putting back together which gets difficult
