Harrison doesn't make the part anymore and it's not listed on their site anymore

except if you've got money to burn, nobody needs a billet caliper or pump on a street bike and most don't for racing, either.

Yes, I know, I had both on my racer but then as a dealer I do get a "slightly" different price and I wanted them to show and test as well.

It's a mastiff 660 listing. Same brake system with the sm wheels as the baggi.

306 gbp for the billet caliper anodized. A bit pricey but better than I thought. Im just glad there is an off the shelf solution available, albeit an overkill one. Unfortunately, I assume i would then have to upgrade the master cylinder. That would add to the price.... Last resort but at least I have an option.

I will continue to look for solutions. Bill thanks for that link to the Brembo caliper that closely matches the Grimeca oem caliper. There is a link there with a pdf spec page that lists dimensions and measurements. I'll measure mine and compare it to the Brembo.

Grimeca Caliper parts

Postby jimc » Mon May 21, 2012 8:28 pm

Another alternative if the caliper isn't too rough is to just rebuild it.
Mike Morse has supplied the piston & seals kit for the (admittedly crappy) Grimeca front caliper on the Skorpion.
Seems to have parts sources, not cheap , but easiest way for me to get like new performance back.

No promises, but may be worth a call or email before going to the upgrade expen$e.
Best to measure piston sizes first to better identify the right kit.
Good luck,

I'm a big fat liar... they still make it. I will send her the measurements if anyone is interested. I would love to own one, but if the USD$ exchange rate is still around 1.6x I would have to sell a kidney. I don't need a baller setup like this that bad.

Here is an email I got from Janine (rep from Harrison)

Good morning Ameen, Thank you for your email and image. Yes we still manufacture a 6 piston caliper to be a direct fit to the Mastiff. There was a cross over in years and to ensure we supply the correct fitment to you for your MZ Baghira, we would be grateful if you could advise us the distance between the mounting pitches and a photograph of the actual front end with the brake. The engineers can then cross reference the system and advise.

Yes we do ship to America.

prices are dependent upon finish and facia - for a MINI-6 BILLET ORIGINAL CALIPER WITH BILLET-6 FACIA SHOW POLISHED the price would be £284 plus shipment of £24.30 = £308.30 or Black Anodised or Clear Anodised £306.00 plus shipment = £330.30.

Our calipers are supplied complete, pads, pins, bolts etc and are a direct fitment to your stock front end.

I hope this is of assistance and await your advice.

yours

Janine

Subject: Caliper for 2003 MZ Baghira

Hello,

My name is Ameen, and I ride an MZ Baghira... (Same as Mastiff). I was wondering if you still make the 6-pot caliper that you used to make for the MZ brand that you once made at one time. I was interested in getting U.S.D. Price if I were to get this shipped here. Let me know!
