New inexpensive Slider Option - Baghira & Mastiff

Postby Meeners » Thu May 24, 2012 9:15 pm

So... I was looking for a cheap way to protect my water pump and cases... Let's see if you guys can put 2 and 2 together...

Fact: 1-1/8" = 1.125"

Lower bar on Baghira & Mastiff measures 1.119" diameter

Fat bar 1-1/8" risers for dirt bike... Mmmm hmmmmm

Good thing is ths bolt is replaceable in case it gets damaged in a crash...

On impact, it will rotate around the frame tube until it hits the engine case, then - depending on where it is - it would protect the case.

Nice-looking digital Vernier, looks better than the standard cheapo digital one you see everywhere.

I thought about running two clamps along one side and developing some sort of Steel Protector... but that might be a bit extensive. Plus if it did crash it would simply flip the bike when it hit the pavement.

You are right it probably will rotate. I'll post some pictures when the stuff get's here to see what it looks like...

Here are some example pics guys... I've decided how I'm going to rock them but it's pretty versatile what you can do with them...
