Coil Wire

Postby basser23 » Sat Jun 09, 2012 2:30 pm

Does the plug wire on a Skorpion coil unscrew (wire only) or is there a removable screw on type cap to hold the wire in?
Mine looks as if its molded to the coil....want to replace the 16 year old wire...

Looking at the parts diagram it looks like its a separate part.

if it is the original DENSO coil, then the lead is screwed in.

get a NGK CR3 racing lead:

Bill that is the lead I have...there is no screwed on cap on mine, but I have to believe it is the original coil,,so just the wire would be screwed in correct?
