New guy joined to help friend sell bike/sidecar

Postby Flathead42 » Mon Jun 25, 2012 6:52 pm

My name is Flathead Fred. A friends father passed away and left a very clean and good running 1994 Silver Star Classic w/ Factory sidecar. She is looking to sell this rig and asked me to help. An MZ can only be appreciated by a true MZ enthusiast. I would like to keep it myself as I have a soft spot for sidehacks from a previous ownership, but, I already have too many toys. So my inability to keep it and her wish to sell it is going to be to someones great advantage that is tuned into this forum.
Contact me through this Forum or email me at henz@att.net Thanks,

Just a suggestion,a location would go a long way, along with pictures.

I see the US flag on your profile so we are at most 5,000 miles apart. You guys in the EU and the rest of the world are out of luck.
You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.

Sorry about not leaving a location. Chicago is as close as Milwaukee about an hour West of Lake Michigan In the good ole midwestern U.S. I just talked to the seller and she thinks the mileage is under 10,000 but by tomorrow P.M. I hope to have the exact mileage plus some pic"s for anyone interested. I can tell you that her dad bought it from a women some time ago and the sidecar was separate from the bike. The bike has no right turn signals or reflectors and according to BOB at THE WARK SHOP in Ohio (sidecar guy) the velorex company supplied their hacks to the MZ company for factory installs. The bike looks very good, no rust on the spokes and generally very clean. I was told that dad spent lots of time scrubbing things and it looks as though he was very particular.
More tomorrow,
