the shaft hooked to the out side lever will have a flat spot on it
in most cases this works on a slight off set to what it pushes against in the clutch
giving a very high gain in push pressure to release the clutch very short push lots of pressure (lots of ware? )
if its worn it may cause a need for high lever pressure
it should be almost flat at start of stroke at right angle to what its pushing
the lever out side the case and some things in side may all play together to make it work
and a badly worn clutch plates can be part of the problem
while your in there check that lock nut on the balance gear
mine is coming apart for balance gear change in mid to late November
so i will be seeing how its really made at that time
good luck
i tested the pull on mine and it seems a bit hard about 2x the rt125
link to a way to make it lighter if its all ok inside
