The Vapor is a nice product if they worked out the rpm sensor wire for the Yamaha 660. It needs a resistor in line to work right but I went and bought the one recommended for the fix and still couldn't get it to show a stable reading. Go with the black "Stealth" unit as the silver finish on the standard model is poor quality and opt for the nice housing/mount that they offer.

@edfmaniac,
have you wired the resistor wire straight to coil,think you then need to program ppr bit in manual.if i get 5mins willlook to see what i set mine atworked for me

al,i would go with the housing too as all the mz lights will fit in it,just need to add an overtemp warning light or you can use the settings on the vapor.
everything included in the kit for the water connection as well,did mine to side of cylinder head.

Mine has a homemade, very minimal mount that is temporary until the final stages of my project come together. I haven't felt the need to hook up the water temp function.

Don't get the Vapor if you want a Tach
The ambient temp also reads about 10%F too high
Other functions work fine, but I wished I had just gone with a bicycle speedo and forgone the rest.
