Air pods?

Postby sdbct1 » Wed Dec 05, 2012 12:11 pm

Greetings all,
OK so the motor on my baggy is now all good (thanks SAM!!) So, I was wondering if anyone makes air pods for the carbs, instead of the air box? Has anyone ever done them? :-D

Thanks Bass, Dave I got your message, Sadly I am a fair weather rider, and hopefully won't get stuck in the rain, but good to know. Now 2 questions, whats the difference between the k&n rc1820 and the 2450? Do I need 2 since im dual carbed or does it go over both or do I need 2?

one is for the left carb, and one for the right which is larger in diameter.
UNI makes pod filters too, just measure the diameter of the carb openings to determine which sizes to get.
also note that when fitting you may have to lengthen one side due to clearance on the carbs.
