Not quite finished mounting it yet, even though I've never seen it light up I need to wire in a temperature warning light. It appears to operate from the same 3 pin sensor as the radiator fan (which I've never heard running until I bridged it today either). :( I f*+#king hate anything with wires coming out of it, being colour blind adds to my fury! I'll post a pic at the weekend when it's finished.

Sounds like a ball ache, esp the colour blindness bit.

Looking forward to the pics :-D :-D

Mission accomplished! Ball ache is not even close! I've probably gone a bit OTT on the wiring and soldering the joints (it's a pitty MZ didn't think like this when they built it) but if you're going to a job you might aswell do it properly, I don't recon much to the KOSO mounting brackets for the display panel or the pick up sensor so I've grafted some of my own.

Yep, the bars on the top rise and fall with the RPM, it took two minutes to program the speedo for single cylinder, number of coils, 2 or 4 stroke, tyre circumfrence and number of magnets for the pick up. It's a bit rude to ask another man to see pictures of his tool!!! Where's yours?

Here you go.

I've got a bsm carbon pipe to go on (used ebay job), but want to look at getting a link pipe made up that'll take slip ons.

Other than that some new bars, maybe and R6 clutch lever and master cylinder and a PR3 rear tyre.

Sweet! It looks like you've just taken the wrapper paper off it! It'll go better when you junk the half tonne MZ silencer. I had a sports bike silencer on mine when I bought it but I thought it looked too big for the style of bike.

I think the connecting pipe started life on the origional MZ silencer (chopped off) and had a low level slip on can when I bought the bike, in the second photo I had a pipe made and welded on (high level). The first picture has a Yoshi YRD can from a DR650 again with the pipe chopped and welded. Caution! Hot exhaust gas will melt anything that gets in it's way so you may need to relocate your indicators and number plate if you go with the high level. They only burn until black and crispsy at which point they'll drop off! I used the number plate bracket from my 09 Tuono to drop them out of harms way.
