Mr. Large,

This one was kind of difficult to find...

Go to the Mechanic/Tech Talk section.
The second of that discussion section is baggy carb tune kit.
On page two, the eleventh post down, Skorpion has a link at the bottom for the entire manual.

Mr. Large,

As you get your MZ sorted I would encourage you to document and share the details.
As time goes by your experiances will be invaluable to others.
If Skorpion hadn't posted the manual I'd have had to scan all the pages from my hard copy.
Many thanks to him... good stuff!

Best wishes,

I'll do my best. This could take a while and be a VERY long thread.

If you decide to bail on the project, I'll give you twice what you paid! :-D

Still haven't heard back from the manufacturer. Graham's quoted me $190 US (both wheels) shipped and no stainless alternative available. Sucks because I can get Kawi or Yamaha spokes for $35 a wheel.

This is from the manufacturer of the wheels....

"I think it should go directly to the factory manufacturer of motorcycle, our
company is only concerned with the construction of the rims.
Spokes, hubs, and various wheel components are assembled in different
structures of our company and we can not do anything for your problem.
Regards

L.Pagani"

Looks like I'm out of luck in getting a solution from them. Guess I'll be contacting MuZ next.

you don't need OEM spokes, contact Buchanan spoke directly if you feel up to lacing, or send your wheels to somebody that knows how to lace wheels, like Woody's Wheels. I had mine rebuilt with Buchanan stainless spokes that are probably 2 or 3 times better than the crap OEM spokes (broke five before I had enough..).

As you are finding out.. nothing on the Baggi is really that unique except the bodywork, tank, and seat. Everything else can be sourced off a mix of KTM, Yamaha, Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Aprilia, etc stuff. I replaced my front brake disc with a pair of discs off Ebay for like $40. late 90s early 00s discs of R6 fit like a charm.. stuff like that is what you need to know.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't just buff off the rust on your forks too. Number of people actually find a fine grit (400-600) "polish" on fork tubes actually reduces stiction. Same principle as a scored cylinder bore, light coating of oil stays trapped in the cross hatch, allowing lubrication.. Anyway, I'd try that before I go down the road of replacing or chroming.

Also Dupli-Color spray-on bedliner ($10 per can at your auto store) will get those plastics looking good and ruggedly handsome too. LOL.

+1 on Buchannon spokes; they're widely used by many US Builders. They rebuild wheels too, though I've heard nothing but good about Woodys too.
