MZ Baghira brake pads/suspension settings?

Postby duncmac » Thu May 09, 2013 1:30 am

These are going to need replacing soon, just wondered what brands people have used.

Its all goldfren AD sintered on ebay, these ok?

Also they have ferrodo platinum which are organic, are these ok or should I stick with sintered? - I'm using a lot more rear brake to help with the fork dive, wondered if organic pads would give less initial bite and smooth out the front brake a little, its a bit on/off unless you're really gently with it.

Trying to stiffen the baggy up, what settings do you lot have on your forks and shock?

Lastly is 28/32 psi the right tyre pressure for 1 up?

Ta!

Hi, you can stiffen the front end up by changing the fork oil to a heavier grade, not too much tho` or it might start to chatter and lose grip or possibly fit progressive rate fork springs, I never get used to it as I also have a BMW with telelever front suspension which hardly dips at all. For the rear you may be able to change the spring if you cannot adjust shock enough, it depends on rider weight!!
I personnally use OE or named (EBC, Ferodo) brand brake pads for BM, not needed any for Baggy yet.
