Need front brake master cylinder and mirrors for my baggy

Postby Honeybadger » Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:21 pm

Howdy folks, my grimeca front M/C has started leaking, and I need to replace it, along with my mirrors. What cheap options are there for mirrors, and what are my options (not cheap, when it comes to brakes I want to spend money) for a new master cylinder? Or, are there rebuild kits for them? It still performs fine, but it's seeping around the actuation pin.

rebuild kit will have seals to fix this, I dont know what other makes used the same set up (ie easier to search for spares)

Think I've seen some talk on here about upgrades for the perch/master cylinder.

Search bill J's posts.

go somewhere that a lot of bmw bikes show up ...
and look at what is installed on models from 1980 to 1990
some of the r65 or r80 stuff may fit
Ducati maybe i do not know because there almost as rare as my mz's where i live

the front unit on a kaw klr 650 looks close

in fact it uses the same brake pads as an 125 sx on the front left
below links can help you find a brembo part number

this one may work but banjo bolt with switch on hose required to get the brake lamp switch

there are ones with switch but require that ugly remote fluid tank

10.4776.83 is rear master cylinder on my rt125
its rear caliper looks same as klr650 after 2010 and some kymco scooters bet and win 150/250
