Scorpion Tour 660 horn & kill switch

Postby Snapjaw79 » Wed Sep 25, 2013 2:24 pm

Hey guys, so neither my horn or kill switch have worked since I bought this bike and I'm pretty sure they are not possibly related. Where is the horn located? and is the kill switch a pain in the ass to get working again? I only ask because I have to take my riding test and they want them functional.
Thanks

The plug into the main harness should have good contact ... try unplugging it and doing some lube or wd40 to get it cleaned out.
Cool.

horn button is on left
kill is on right handle and may have been bypassed by past owner having trouble with relay 30
also called relay 19 on the 125cc 4 strokes
the side stand switch also works this relay
on the horn test horn with a fresh battery as a lot of the time when they set the horn dies ..the contact inside gets dirty

hmmm. Yeah, there are some wires that look disconnected under the seat. Somebody did some tampering... guess I'll have to perform some further research into that. there is no kill on the kickstand anymore either.
