GS500e wheels

Postby pod35 » Mon Oct 21, 2013 10:11 am

Hey Srinath, I know you're not keen on the GS500e wheels but I just picked up a pair for £10. Have you got any tips on fitting them? I promise not to leave them white

In the old country where I am from we have a saying ... loosely translated it goes like this ... spin in 3 times round your head and toss it as far as you can it removes the evil eye ... he he ... you wasted your 10 bucks.

OK so now the wheels on the skorp ...

Sadly I have no clue, I've pulled a 100 GS wheels ... Not 1 skorp wheel ...

The front axle is 14mm on the GS, the rear is 17, No clue what the skorp ones are ...

Really I am clueless ... the wheel, the FE the whole kit and kaboodle I'd adapt to a Skorp is a 97 and later katana 600. I even suspect the fork leg spacings are identical, it has twin disk in front etc etc.

Cool.

Oooo The skorpion fork legs are 6 1/4+ " inner to inner and GS is under 5 1/2 - you need the skorp axle bolt - GS axle wont fit.
The Katana post 97 bolt may fit the skorp forks and I know its 14mm, with 12mm threads if I recall - if the skorp axle is not 14mm that may be your next option.

Now why are you running GS wheels ? Your skorp has no wheels ...

Cool.
