TS250/1 Swinging arm bushes

Postby atreyu » Mon May 26, 2014 1:59 pm

Can anyone tell me what the correct "set up" is for a Supa 5 swinging arm? Am I correct thinking there should be a rubber bush, inner sleeve and a nylon spacer (ring) on the outside? As one side is longer than the other I presume each side is relative to its length?

Thanks for the reply, That does make sense however the first link describes the rubber bushes only having a washer either side, which to me suggests the rubber bush is the full width of the swinging arm "lug"? On MZshop it mentions a spacer piece but only shows one side of the swinging arm, my problem is both sides are different sizes so I'm unsure if the bushes are the same with different size nylon spacer pieces or if someones messed with my bike in the past

I'm still struggling with the swinging arm on the Supa 5, I've fitted new bushes. I have a shim washer on the inside of each swinging arm lug, and a regular washer on the outside under each spindle nut. At the moment the spindle moves with the swinging arm (rotating in the frame rather than on the bushes) So I really don't know what to do!
