The reason I asked about tubes wasn't because of a puncture. The front is losing air from the rim. Options are...Clean and paint inside of rim with a sorta rubber paint, which I believe can be sort of short to middle term repair or...Powder coat the rim, not cheap but long term solution or...wack a tube in it.
I'd probably have wacked a tube in it but it's the mussus's bike and she's decided to go with option 1, the rubber paint sorta thing. I can see from where the air's leaking that repair has already been done in the past. I reckon the repair has been disturbed enough to leak again when the new tyre went on recently. Either that or she bumped a kerb and disturbed it.
