Can any one advise on side stands please, I've recently had 2 repaired but unfortunately they have both ended up broke again! So is there some way of making a good repair or an alternative side stand that will fit, even one on to the frame or suitable brakit/mounting.

Sory folks forgot to say its on a TS250, its the one that fits between the swinging arm and brake plate. So is the issue that they are dissimilar metals e.g. cast and mild steel?

The price for a new one with 2 springs(returns automically) is about 30 Euro.
So I would not weld with the risk of breaking again and damaging the bike....

After purchasing an aftermarket side stand, I found it bend under the weight of the bike.
I got a replacement, from a different factory, that did much of the same.
I got an original from e-Bay which is proper thick steel years ago (and for the same price as an aftermarket) ... No bending

The sides stand I got from Guesi, is very sturdy.
You will not be disappointed.
