Emergency services style helmet earpiece with boom mic?

Postby Gobsheen » Fri Feb 06, 2015 9:23 am

Hi,
I've been looking for a headset like many UK emergency services use but really struggling. It's hard to even find a pic but here's a poor one.............

Anyone know?!

I don't want one that hooks over the ear or a flat speaker that sticks inside the helmet. Tried them and they just don't work for me. My plan is to use it with my phone for music, navigation and occasional calls. I know the Police etc don't connect to a phone but if I find the ones they use, I should be closer to what I'm after.

Thanks Den. I've tried on a couple of Vipers before but my funny shaped head doesn't like them! Personally, I think my head looks fairly normal but I struggle to find comfortable helmets.
They're supposed to work great, like you say. I like ear bud style headsets to keep noise down. I normally wear plugs if I don't have the buds in.
