The Kickstart lever on my ES/TS 150 occasionally locks solid. If I put the bike in gear and rock it back and forth it frees up again.
Any ideas folks?

Wotcha.
This also happens on my BSA Bantam. It's nothing to worry about, it's just the teeth on the kickstart quadrant are not meshing with the teeth on the back of the clutch drum - rolling the bike moves the clutch drum so that the quadrant can then engage. We always refer to it as "lock jaw"
