Sport Cup seat cord breakage

Listers: Anyone out there suffer a seat release cord breakage on their Sport Cup or Replica. If so how did you remove the seat. The cord on mine broke, and I cannot remove the rider seat cushion. Any help would be most appreciated.

Listers: Well I was finally able to release the seat. It took purchasing a lighted bore scope from Amazon, not too expensive. This allowed me to actually see the release mechanism, and use a long pick to move the lever. I will be securing a small cable that won't break like the cord. Jeez what a PITA.
